FANS of classic cars should take a trip to the Schlumpf museum, near Mulhouse in the east of France, to get up to speed with all things motoring.
Visitors will be guided through the exhibits, which feature cars from the 1930s, by both sound and images as the world of the motorcar is explored.

At Bergerac's tobacco museum, or Musee du Tebac, you can learn about how the crop was first brought to the French royal courts in the 16th Century by Jean Nicot.
